Current Programs

We currently have several ongoing programs!

It's Cool to Be Covered!

This program hosts Drive Thru Free Face Masks and Food Giveaway events in 4 states across the United States. Alabama, Florida, Michigan, and Georgia. In 2022, we want to branch out nationwide.

Objective: To help "flatten the curve" of COVID-19 and its variants by up to 35%. To educate citizens in hesitant vaccine communities. To cover every person we come in contact with free reusable cloth face masks.

The Foundation also helps with food insecurity by providing healthy nutritional food to all of the families we serve.

Who we serve: Mostly women/children at or below the poverty level. K-12 schools. Colleges and universities. General public.

Measurement: We measure by counting the number of cars served, number of masks given, number of pounds of food given, and the percentage of positive cases 3 weeks after the event versus current cases. We also evaluate the number and demographics of volunteers engaged, the number of community partner organizations involved, and the actual number of people served.

Evaluation:

We collect feedback from electronic surveys or testimonials. We also request reviews from our community organizational partners, people served and from volunteer engagement.

We use this feedback to:

  • Identify and remedy poor client service experiences

  • To identify bright spots and to enhance positive service experiences

  • To make fundamental changes to our programs and/or operations

  • To strengthen relationships with the people we serve, and our partners.
