Thanksgiving is almost upon us and many families are making plans for the big feast. With this in mind, the Power of Life Foundation partnered with Pastor George Blanks and Perfecting Reconciliation Church International (PRCI) to host the 2021 Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway.

The event was held on Saturday 20th November 2021 at PRCI, Bessemer, Alabama. It is aimed at alleviating some of the financial burdens that come with the celebration of the holiday and is primarily organized to help families in need in Jefferson County. It was such a heartwarming experience to see everyone, volunteers and community partners, come together to support the County.

“Numerous sponsors and volunteers served 2,313 individuals”

We were able to serve a staggering 2,313 individuals by providing 320 turkeys, 318 hand sanitizers, over 12,000 masks, 500 food boxes from Amazon, and 400 packs of cookies.
