Happy faces at Macon

Support for underprivileged students

Providing essentials to children, senior citizens and others in need is part of the Power of Life Foundation’s mission.

On Friday 16th July 2021 we collaborated with Johnny Hollingshed Jr and Harold Young for a “Back to School” event at the Tubman Museum in Macon, Georgia. The event aimed to support the underprivileged students in that community for the upcoming school year. Many of whom may not have been able to afford these items otherwise.

Over 2,000 supplies were distributed with the generosity fo our collaborators and volunteers

We had the privilege of distributing over 2,000 supplies such as backpacks, hand sanitizers, masks, socks, and stationery. With the generosity of our collaborators and the dedicated support and commitment of our volunteers, the event was a huge success and brought smiles to the faces of many young students. We were also happy to bring relief to parents and guardians with this initiative, giving them one less bill to worry about.

Through events such as this “Back to School” giveaway, we hope to provide encouragement to the community and aid to build a brighter future for all. This event is just one of three events we intend to complete in 2021. Stay connected with us for updates on our other giveaways in Alabama and Tallahassee.

The future of our country and by extension the world is in the backpacks of our students and the Power of Life Foundation is delighted to help.
